Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 05, 2026

SOOFY LLC (“LLM Router,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We operate on a Zero Data Retention (ZDR) architecture for API payloads. This means that while we process your AI requests to route them effectively, we do not store the content of your prompts or the AI’s responses. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you access our website, dashboard, and API services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. The Core Principle: Zero Data Retention (ZDR)

We distinguish between 'Account Data' (which we keep to run the service) and 'Payload Data' (your AI prompts and responses).

1.1. Payload Data (Prompts & Completions)

When you send a request to the LLM Router API:

Ephemeral Processing: Your Prompts (inputs) and Completions (outputs) are processed in ephemeral memory (RAM) solely for the purpose of PII redaction, complexity analysis, and routing to the upstream provider.

No Storage: We DO NOT log, archive, train on, or store the text content of your Prompts or Completions in our databases or file systems. Once the request is returned to you, the content is wiped from our active memory.

1.2. Metadata Logs

To provide billing and analytics, we store metadata about your requests. This includes: Token counts (Prompt tokens, Completion tokens). Latency metrics. The model used (e.g., 'gpt-4o'). Routing decision logs (e.g., 'Routed to Llama 3 due to low complexity'). This metadata never contains the actual text of your conversation.

2. Information We Collect

While we do not collect your AI payloads, we do collect the following information to operate the Service:

2.1. Account Information

Identity: Name, email address, and Organization ID. Credentials: Passwords (hashed) and API Keys (hashed). Billing Data: Payment history and billing addresses (processed securely via our payment processor, Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers.

2.2. Usage Data

API usage logs (request timestamps, HTTP status codes, error logs). Dashboard analytics (browser type, IP address, interaction logs) to improve the UI experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited data we collect for the following purposes:

Routing & Optimization: To analyze request complexity in real-time and select the optimal AI provider.

PII Redaction: To scan your input for sensitive data (Credit cards, SSNs) and redact it before sending it to third parties.

Billing: To calculate usage costs and generate invoices.

Security: To detect API abuse, rate limiting, and prevent fraud. Communication: To send system alerts, invoices, or critical service updates.

4. Sharing Data with AI Providers

LLM Router is a gateway. To function, we must transmit your Payload Data to the third-party AI Providers you select (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity).

4.1. Transmission

We transmit your data via encrypted channels (TLS/SSL).

4.2. Upstream Privacy

Once your data is transmitted to a third-party provider, it is governed by their Privacy Policy. Our Safeguard: Where supported, LLM Router sends opt-out headers (e.g., OpenAI’s X-Opt-Out) to request that these providers do not train on your data. Your Responsibility: You should review the privacy policies of the models you choose to route to.

5. Data Security

We implement enterprise-grade security measures:
Encryption: All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3.
Hashing: API Keys are hashed using SHA-256 before storage; we cannot see your raw API keys after creation.
Redaction: If enabled, our PII Redaction feature masks sensitive data before it ever leaves our infrastructure.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA), you have rights regarding your data:
Access: You may view your account usage and metadata in the dashboard.
Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account. Since we do not store Payload Data, there is no history of your AI conversations to delete.
Export: You may export your billing and usage logs. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@llmrouter.app .

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies solely for: Authentication: Keeping you logged into the dashboard.
Security: CSRF protection.
Essential Analytics: (Google Analytics) to monitor dashboard performance. We do not use cookies for ad retargeting.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our technology or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via email or a dashboard notification.
